Most of the Sri Lankan players are in their ideal form. From Kusal Mendis, who can provide explosive opening overs with the bat, to Wanindu Hasaranga, who is an brilliant all-rounder. Hasaranga was the 2nd highest wicket taker in the Asia Cup 2022. Bhanuka Rajapaksa provides Sri Lanka with much needed firepower in the middle order. Captain Shanaka is a wonderful player too. Pramod Madhushan is a right arm medium pacer and can bowl nicely.

Sri Lanka will enter the last as slight top picks in the wake of beating Pakistan by 5 wickets in a low-scoring challenge on Yesterday. In what could be viewed as a practice for the enormous Final, the two groups, who had previously progressed to the Final on Tomorrow, played in the last Super 4 match on Yesterday. Sri Lanka kept up their unbeaten streak subsequent to tumbling to Afghanistan in the competition’s opening game.
We are down to the last two groups after over about fourteen days of constant activity and nail-gnawing games. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will go head to head in the Asia Cup 2022 Final on Sunday, September 11 at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
The Irish team has given some good performances in the past and they will be looking to win this match. They have a power-hitter as their opener, Paul Stirling, who is the top run scorer from the Ireland team. In the last 28 innings, he scored 610 runs at an average of 22.59. He is a wonderful slogger of the ball and can easily throw the ball out of the stadium.
Another prominent batter from the Irish side is Andy Balbirnie, who is the captain of the Ireland team. Kevin O’Brien is a player that has been playing from Irish side from a very long period of time and with that much of experience, he can surely help his team on crucial moments. He too has good batting records. Another batter to look at is Lorcan Tucker. While, in the last year, Craig Young, Andrew Mcbrine and Mark Adair have performed exceptionally in the bowling department.
Prediction Ireland won their last match against England. This shows that they have the ability to upset any team at any given day. So, Ireland are looking favourites for this contest but Afghanistan has a better bowling attack than Ireland. So it’ll be an exciting contest to watch.
