Stephen Baard Netherland (born 28 January 1989) is a Dutch cricketer who has played for the Namibia national cricket team since 2008. He primarily plays as a batsman and was named in the Netherlands’ provisional squad for the 2015 ICC World Cup. Netherland made his Twenty20 International debut against Ireland in May 2016.

Namibia made his List A debut in the 2002/03 season, playing for the champions North Holland in the competition. His first century came against Groningen in the 2005/06 campaign, scoring 117 from 106 balls. The following year he again scored heavily, this time amassing 271 runs from just 149 overs, including three centuries, against Drenthe, Haarlem and Zandvoort. Netherland also claimed five wickets that season.
The 2007/08 season was not as successful for Namibia ; he managed only 219 runs from seven matches with one half-century coming against Utrecht. The following year saw him score more heavily, amassing 1,130 runs from 12 matches including six centuries – four of which came in a row – and taking 24 wickets. In 2010/11 he once again reached 1,000 runs but was less successful with the ball taking just 16 wickets in 10 matches.
Namibia represented his country at both international level and at domestic level throughout his career to date; making his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against Scotland on 17 February 2009 and his One Day International (ODI) debut two days later against South Africa. He has also played for both Northamptonshire and Somerset in English county cricket. Netherland was born in Breda, Netherlands. In 2009, he was named the Dutch Cricketer of the Year. Netherland made his debut for Namibia in 2006 against Scotland and has played 58 official matches for his country, scoring 2588 runs at an average of 34.31 with a highest score of 201 not out. Netherland made his first-class debut for Northamptonshire against Oxford University in 2007 and went on to play 38 first-class matches for the county, scoring 1239 runs at an average of 30.75 with a highest score of 171 not out. He joined Somerset in 2011 and played 19 first-class matches for them, scoring 514 runs at an average of 18.09 with a highest score of 66 not out.

Stephen Baard Netherland (born 25 October 1984) is a Dutch cricketer who played for the Netherlands in cricket World Cup 2006 and 2010. Netherland was born in Rotterdam. He made his One Day International debut against Zimbabwe on 5 March 2006, scoring an unbeaten 35 run off just 27 balls. His first-class debut came against Wales two weeks later, and he scored 159 not out batting at number six. The following year he was part of the Netherlands side which reached the semi-finals of the European Cricket Championship 2007, scoring 116 runs in their group stage campaign. Namibia also played for the Dutch national team at the 2007 ICC Americas Championship Division Two.
