Rovman Powell West indies cricket player is a right-handed batsman and occasional off spinner who has represented the West Indies in one-day internationals and Twenty20 matches since making his debut in March 2014. He made his Test debut for the West Indies against Zimbabwe in September 2016.

Rovman Powell is a cricketer who has represented the West Indies in international cricket. He made his international debut in February 2016, and has since played nine Tests and twenty One Day Internationals (ODIs). Powell was born on 12 January 1995 in Saint Lucia. He began playing cricket at a young age, and later attended Bishop Webb Secondary School. Powell made his first-class debut for Mona in the 2015–16 season. In December 2017, he was named in the West Indies squad for the 2018 ICC World Cup.

He made his first-class debut for Barbados in 2008. Powell has also played for Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windies B team. Powell was born on 10 October 1991 in Christ Church, Barbados to parents Glenn Powell and Nancie Powell. When Rovman was four years old his family moved to Trinidad where he started playing cricket at age six with Junior Petite Club Cricket Club. It wasn’t until he turned eighteen that Powell first represented Barbados at senior level, making his List A debut against Guyana in April 2008. His form for Barbados caught the eye of then Windies coach Phil Simmons and afterWINDIES tour of England in 2010 he was called into national squad for Test series against West Indies but failed to make an appearance due to injury.

In early 2013 Powell signed a contract with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). RCB paid $350,000 UAE dolars as release clause from Barbados cricket board which they acquired rights before player had played any domestic match there. RCB physiotherapist Rob Simmons got him fit

Rovman Powell West Indies cricket player is a talented all-rounder who has represented his country in the international arena. Powell was born on 5th February 1992 and hails from Antigua and Barbuda. Powell started playing cricket at an early age and soon showed aptitude for the sport. He made his first-class debut for Antigua and Barbuda in the 2010-11 season and quickly established himself as one of the best players in the region. In 2012, Powell made his T20I debut for West Indies and took 2 wickets in the match, including that of Indian captain Virat Kohli.

In October 2018, Powell was named in the squad for the World T20 tournament to be held in England later that year. He made his T20I debut for West Indies during the tournament and played a key role in their semifinal victory over Australia. Powell finished the tournament with 4 wickets from 5 matches, including 3 dismissals of Australian batsmen.

Powell is also a prolific batsman, having scored more than 10,000 runs in both first-class and T20I cricket. His highest score across all formats is 226 not out which he achieved while playing for Antigua and Barbuda against Trinidad & Tobago in May 2016. Powell is also known for his dynamic batting style which often sees him take prominent strike rates across all formats.
