The very versatile batter and a brilliant right arm off spinner , Moeen Ali made his International debut for England’s team in 2014.

Moeen Ali used to play for Worcestershire in domestic cricket. Having played for them from 2007, he was included in the England’s Squad for T20 World Cup 2014. Moeen Ali made his ODI debut against West Indies in the same year in a series just before the World Cup. Moeen debuted in the T20 format in the same series against the West Indies.

Ali made his test debut in 2014 against Sri Lanka. He scored his maiden century in the same series. Ali then went on to play brilliant cricket in all the formats. In an ODI series against Sri Lanka, he scored a century. Moeen was also in the 2015 ODI World Cup squad of England as well. Moeen represented England in the 2016 T20 World Cup. Although he didn’t play in the Champions Trophy, he was in the English squad for 2019 ODI World Cup and in 2020, he became the first Asian man to captain England’s team in a limited overs cricket since Nasseer Hussain. Moeen played the 2021 T20 World Cup as well.

Moeen played the franchise cricket as well, representing RCB in IPL, though he was then bought by the CSK in 2021 and Multan Sultans in PSL.
