The new addition to the Bangladeshi pace bowling attack is Hasan Mahmud, who is young, energetic and a very fine young talent. Bangladesh team has been lacking a pace bowler for a very long time. His inclusion into the Bangladeshi team will definitely be a sign of relief for them. Mahmud made his debut in 2020 and is still a newcomer to the team. He has 37 wickets in 14 first class matches which is an extremely good number.
Mahmud debuted in first class cricket in 2017. He earned his maiden BBL contract from Dhaka Platoons. Before making his debut for the team, he was named in the squad several times but didn’t play a single match. Mahmud is a fine fielder too and has the ability to generate a good amount of pace while bowling. He surely has the potential to be a star for Bangladesh in the pace bowling
