Charith Asalanka is a Sri Lankan cricketer who is currently playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He made his international debut in September 2016, and has since played four T20Is and one ODI. Born on 30 January 1992, Asalanka attended S. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia and played for the school’s cricket team before moving to England to further his cricketing career. He made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire in 2010, and played two more seasons for the county side before signing with the Sunrisers Hyderabad in early 2016. Asalanka has been a regular member of the Sri Lanka squad since 2015, and represented his country at the 2015 World Cup and the 2016 ICC World Twenty20. In October 2018, he was named as part of Sri Lanka’s squad for the 2019 ICC World Cup.

Charith Asalanka is a Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the national cricket team in Limited Over and One Day Internationals. Born in Kandy, Asalanka made his first-class debut for Nondescripts Cricket Club in the 2006–07 season. He later played for the Sarath Kuruvilla Sports Club, the Colombo Cricket Club and Burgher Recreation Club before joining the Tamil Union Cricket Association (TUCA) in 2013.

Asalanka made his senior international debut for Sri Lanka against Bangladesh in the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier. He was selected to represent Sri Lanka at the 2015 World Cup and made his One Day International debut against India at Nagpur on 7 November 2015. In January 2019, he was named in Sri Lanka’s squad for their tour of Zimbabwe.

Charith Asalanka is a Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the Kandy Cricket Club. He made his first-class debut in the 2013–14 season and has played for Kandy in all formats of the game. A right-handed batsman and right arm medium pace bowler, he has also represented the Sri Lanka national cricket team.

Asalanka was born on 10 January 1992 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. He started playing cricket at an early age and attended local schools before enrolling at the Trinity College, Kandy to study engineering. However, he dropped out after two years to focus on cricket full-time.

He made his first-class debut for Kandy in the 2013–14 season against Burgher Recreation Club. He scored a century in his first innings and took 2/27 from six overs with the ball as Kandy won by 179 runs. In 2014–15 he scored 159 not out against Moors Sports Club to help Kandy win by five wickets and was named man of the match. In 2016–17 he scored 279 not out against Tigers Sports Club to help Kandy win by seven wickets and was named player of the series.

Asalanka has also represented Sri Lanka at various age group levels including under-19s and under-23s tournaments. He made his Twenty20 debut for Sri Lanka in March 2017 against Bangladesh, scoring 23 runs while taking three wickets in Sri Lanka’s

Charith was born on 5th May 1997 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. He attended St. Joseph’s College, Kandy before moving to Australia to play cricket for the Western Sydney Wanderers in the Australian domestic competition. In September 2017, he was called up to the Sri Lankan squad for their series against India.

In October 2018, he was named in the Test squad for the three-match series against Pakistan.
