Built and opened in 1914, Bellerive Oval is located in Bellerive suburb of Hobart city, Australia. It could hold 20000 people inside it. It is also called Blundstone Arena for sponsorship reasons.

This stadium has been hosting international matches since 1988 and the first ODI played here was between Sri Lanka and Australia in 1988 and then it hosted its maiden test match in 1989.

Bellerive Oval is the home ground of Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes.

It has also hosted several football matches, as it is considered as the home ground of North Melbourne Football club as well.

The ground has hosted only 3 T20I matches thus far and all three games were big scoring games where average first innings score was 182 and team batting first won 2 out of 3 games

It has a very slow and flat pitch and just because of this, sometimes the batters get the advantage and sometimes the bowler, as on slow pitches, batters struggle while on flat pitches, bowlers struggle.
