Aaron James Finch is an Australian cricketer who has played for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League and for the Australia national cricket team. He made his Twenty20 debut for Melbourne Stars in the 2017–18 Big Bash League season. He was born on 18 December 1993. Finch has also played first-class cricket for Victoria and Tasmania and He has been a regular member of the Australian cricket team . With a batting average of just over 30, he is regarded as one of Australia’s most promising young batsmen, and is considered a key member of the country’s future Test team.

Aaron James Finch is an Australian cricketer who has played first-class cricket for Victoria and Australia since 2007. He made his international debut for Australia in February 2010, and has since played 45 Test matches, 151 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 34 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). He became the first Australian to score a triple century in Tests, when he achieved the feat against India in January 2018. In all formats of the game, he has scored over 10,000 runs with an average of 43.87.

He was one of the most promising young cricketing talents in Australia and made his Test debut at just 22 years old against New Zealand in March 2009. Finch went on to cement his place as a regular member of the Australia Test team and is now considered one of the country’s best batsmen.

Finch began his cricketing career with the Northern Districts Cricket Association at the age of 12. He made his first-class debut for New South Wales in 2006 and played for them until 2009. In 2008, he was named player of the tournament at the Sheffield Shield.

In January 2010, Finch was signed by English county side Nottinghamshire on a short-term contract. He made his debut for Nottinghamshire in February 2010 and played two further first-class matches that year. However, he did not feature for the county side again and left after one season.

Finch signed a three-year contract with English side Sussex in February 2011. He made his debut for Sussex that month and played six first-class matches before leaving after the 2012 season to join Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League (BBL).
