Varun Chakravarthy is an Indian cricketer who was born on August 29, 1991, in Bidar, Karnataka, India. He is a right-arm leg-spinner who has gained recognition for his unique bowling action and excellent variations.
Varun Chakravarthy was born to CV Vinod Chakravarthy and Malini Chakravarthy in Bidar, Karnataka. He completed his schooling from St. Michael’s School in Chennai and went on to pursue a degree in architecture from SRM University in Chennai. However, he left his studies midway to pursue his cricketing dreams.
Apart from cricket, Varun Chakravarthy loves to dance, sketch and read books. He is also an ardent follower of football and supports the English Premier League team, Manchester United.
