The 22 years old Azmatullah Omarzai led his way into the Afghanistan team in 2021. Before making his debut, Omarzai was named in the squad a few times but couldn’t make his debut. He was first named in the Afghanistan squad for 2018 Emerging Teams Asia Cup and then again for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
After that he got selected for the T20I series against Ireland as well but in all these years he didn’t play any match. He was in the Afghanistan squad which participated in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup. His domestic career started in 2017. With right hand medium fast bowling, he has 58 dismissals to his name in domestic cricket. He still hasn’t played much cricket in all three formats. Moreover,he doesn’t have a promising record with the bowling.
