Aiden Markaram is ferocious, has great power in his bat and hits proper big shots. Markaram was born in Centurion, Gauteng. He started his domestic career by playing for Northerns in 2014. Markaram led the Under-19 team of South Africa in the World Cup 2014. His team won the title that year.
Markaram was extravagant with the bat in that tournament as well. His international debut came in 2017 against Bangladesh. He missed his maiden century on his test debut by a few runs but he didn’t wait too long and just in the next test, scored a classy hundred. Markarams start in international cricket was tremendous.
He opened his account in ODI format in that same series and scored 66 runs. Markaram took 2 wickets as well in that match. He got a chance to lead the team in the ODI series against India in 2018 due to an injured Faf du Plessis. Markaram was named in the ICC Men’s T20I team of the year 2021 as well.
