He first made his debut in 2015 when he was inducted into the Pakistan squad for the ODI series against England and played his 1st T20 against Sri Lanka in 2016.  He made his way into the team by performing in the national T20 cup that is held under the umbrella of PCB. He played from the KPK team and had that firepower in his bat. After that he was selected by Karachi Kings in the opening edition of PSL and from then on, he also played from Peshawar Zalmi’s side and played the, most recent edition of PSL from Islamabad united.

He is remembered for his performance in the series against Australia which was held in Australia. This is the reason why he is selected in the world cup squad of Pakistan team because he got a good record on Australian pitches as he has the ability to hit the ball nicely. Pakistan would be needing such players in the T20 World Cup 2022.
