Timothy Hays David, Australian cricketer, was born on the 14th of February 1987 in Adelaide, South Australia. Timothy is a right-handed batsman and occasional wicketkeeper who plays for the Western Australian cricket team . He made his List A debut for Western Australia in the 2005/06 season. In 2009, he was named as captain of Western Australia’s domestic first-class side. He made his limited-overs international debut for Australia against Sri Lanka in the 2011 World Cup qualifiers.

Timothy Hays David (born 26 March 1988) is an Australian cricketer who has played for Australian domestic teams Victoria and Western Australia. He made his Twenty20 International debut for Australia in November 2011 and played two matches against Zimbabwe in 2012.

David was born in Perth, Western Australia. He attended Greenmount College in Perth and played cricket for them in the 2007/08 season, making 15 first-class appearances and scoring 653 runs at an average of 29.13 with a highest score of 74 not out. In 2008 he also made his one-day debut for Western Australia, playing five matches. David made his international debut for Australia on 11 November 2011, against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club. He scored 16 runs from 21 balls before being dismissed by Elton Chigumbura.

David signed with Victoria ahead of the 2012/13 season and made his first-class debut for Victoria against Tasmania on 2 November 2012. He top scored for Victoria with 138 not out from 255 balls batting second behind Peter Siddle in the innings victory. He finished the season as Victoria’s leading run scorer with 1,574 runs at an average of 50.95 including eleven century stands, five half centuries and six fifties. Timothy Hays David was born on the 1st of December, 1964 in Sydney, Australia. Timothy is the son of Australian cricketer and television commentator, Timothy Hays David and his wife Margot. His father played first-class cricket for New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria between 1960 and 1979.

David was educated at North Sydney Boys High School where he captained the First XI cricket team. After completing school, David studied commerce at Monash University but he dropped out after two semesters. In 1988, David made his first-class cricket debut for New South Wales against Queensland. He played four further first-class matches for the state before moving to Tasmania in 1990. There he played seventeen matches for the state before playing his final first-class match for Victoria against Western Australia in 1994.

David’s international career commenced in 1992 when he was selected to play for the Australia A side that toured England and Scotland. He made his Test debut against England at Lord’s Cricket Ground later that year and went on to play thirteen Tests for Australia between 1992 and 2001. During this time he also represented Australia at three Cricket World Cups (1995, 1999 and 2003) as well as two ICC Champions Trophy tournaments (1996 and 2006). Finally, David retired from international cricket following the 2005 Ashes series which saw Australia lose 4-1 to England.

He has also represented the Australian national team in a number of One Day International (ODI) matches. David was born on 22 October 1984 in Perth, Western Australia. He made his first-class debut for Western Australia in the 2005–06 season. In that season, he scored 304 runs at an average of 52.50, including 3 centuries and a half-century.

He played one more first-class match for the state before moving to New South Wales to play for Sydney Sixers in the 2006–07 season. David continued to represent Sydney Sixers in the 2007–08 and 2008–09 seasons until he moved back to Western Australia to play for WA Scorchers during the 2009–10 season. David played four matches for WA Scorchers that season before representing Australia in three ODIs against Sri Lanka later that year. David played one more ODI for Australia before retiring from international cricket after the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 tournament which Australia won. In total, David scored 8054 runs at an average of 33.75 with 7 centuries and a half-century in 54 matches with 10 teams across 10 seasons.[1]
