Mustafizur Rahman was a great addition to the Bangladeshi team. He is a fine pacer who has variation in his bowling. He can move the ball at opening overs, bowl a brilliant slower one and sometimes a bouncer too. Hailing from a town in Khulna, Bangladesh, he missed his education due to his passion for cricket but that proved to be a blessing in disguise for him.
He started to eye a spot in the national side, so in 2012 he went to the fast bowlers camp held by the BCB. He got noticed and earned a spot in the Under-19 team instead. While playing the World Cup in 2014, he took 8 wickets. From there, he was promoted and got a place in the senior Bangladeshi team. He played his maiden international match in 2015 against Pakistan where he took 2 important wickets.
Mustafizur showcased his worthiness just after making debut as he took a fifer against India in an ODI match. Since then he has played for his team in all three formats. Mustafizur has participated in the IPL and PSL as well and in 2016, got a chance to play for Sussex in English county cricket. He got good bowling figures in all three formats.
