Zane Green was born on the 12th of March 1984, in Windhoek, Namibia. He played first-class cricket for Namibia from 2002 to 2008, and represented the country in a number of other tournaments. In 2008, he made his Test debut for the West Indies against India. He has since played 41 Tests for the West Indies, scoring 2163 runs at an average of 31.05, with a high score of 137 not out. He has also played 18 One Day Internationals (ODIs), scoring 675 runs at an average of 23.92, with a high score of 84 not out.
