Having made his debut in 2016, Nurul Hasan Sohan played his maiden first class match in 2011. He is a wicket-keeper batsman of Bangladesh team. He played for Chittagong Kings in BPL 2013 and then moved to Sylhet Super Stars in 2015. Nurul’s first big innings came against Dhaka Division in 2015 Bangladesh National Cricket league when he scored a blistering 182 runs.
An injured Mushfiqur Rahim gave him a chance to make his debut in 2016. Nurul also led the Bangladeshi team in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2018. Nurul has also played the Under-19 World Cups of 2010 and 2012 for Bangladeshi team. Nurul has also impressed with his performance in the Dhaka Premier League since he debuted. After Mushfiqur Rahim retired from T20I format, he took his spot in the team.
