David Wiese was born on the 15th of September 1991 in Windhoek, Namibia. He started playing cricket at an early age and progressed very quickly through the ranks, making his international debut in 2009. Wiese has since gone on to represent his country at three World Cups (2011, 2015, 2019), as well as the Asia Cup (2013) and the ICC Champions Trophy (2018). He has also been a part of several successful bilateral tours, most notably representing Namibia in their historic Test series against South Africa in 2016. David Wiese is an all-round cricketer who can batting both middle-order and down the order, as well as bowling leg-spin.

David Wiese is a Namibian cricket player who has played for Namibia in international cricket. He made his international debut in March 2014, and has since played six matches, all of which have been against Kenya.
In his first match, Wiese scored 76 runs from 133 balls, helping Namibia to victory by four wickets. He reached his century in the second match of the series, hitting 113 from 182 balls. His performance led to him being named the Man of the Match. In his next match, he scored 44 runs from 71 balls, before being dismissed by Richard Kirui. Against Kenya again in October 2017, Wiese scored 47 runs from 73 balls as Namibia won by nine wickets.

After playing two matches for them, he decided to retire from professional cricket to focus on his studies.
