Early life and career of Colin Niel Ackermann

Colin Niel Ackermann was born on October 2, 1967, in Hanover, New Hampshire. He received a B.A. from Middlebury College in 1989 and an M.B.A. from Yale School of Management in 1993.

Ackermann began his career at Bain & Company, where he held several positions, most notably vice president and partner for global investment banking. Colin Niel Ackermann is a former Dutch cricketer who played in eight Tests and twenty-one ODIs from 1998 to 2002. He was born in the Netherlands and played for the Dutch national cricket team at both junior and senior levels before making his Test debut against Zimbabwe in 1998. He went on to play twenty-one appearances for the Netherlands, including their only victory in a Test series, against Sri Lanka in 2001.

Ackermann retired from international cricket after the 2002 season, but continued to play club cricket for several clubs in the Netherlands until 2007. He currently coaches the Dutch Under-19 team.

Colin Ackermann once used to play in South African cricket. He was born in George, Cape province, South Africa. Ackerman is an all-rounder who is a right handed batsman and a right arm off break bowler. He slided into the Netherlands team in 2019.
